Experiences of racism, bias, and discrimination in the workplace are common for Black and other minoritized individuals. The negative impact of these experiences is profound; clinicians and other staff experience stunted career development and isolation, and patient care and outcomes suffer. And yet, there are often no mechanism in place to regularly collect and intervene on these daily experiences of racism. Leaders often have a blind spot with regard to what is happening on-the-ground in the workplaces they oversee.
Lift Every Voice is a low-friction, anonymous digital platform design to actively collect experiences and observations of racism, spark conversation among staff, and catalyze antiracist action among leaders and intervene on experiences of racism in the healthcare workplace.
