Emily Seeburger is a Data Analyst in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Her current work focuses on place-based services and community investments responding to substance use disorder and health inequity. Emily’s other research interests include addiction medicine; emergency prehospital care; and the relationship between the built environment and health. She has prior experience in philanthropic advising, focusing on driving high-impact investment in mental health and substance use programs, policy advocacy, and research. She has also worked in community and economic development. Emily holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Saint Joseph’s University.
